gang, the outcome of these video art installs is too gorgeous not to post. you can not disagree can you. and this is way beyond a plasma installation, read and see all about it here. video art, this is the ticket!
architect antoine predock _ the 'dallas house' he designed for 'deedie and rusty rose, a 'theater of trees'. impeccable. [the life-size computer animated tree whose branches undulate hypnotically, as if blown by a constant imaginary wind, seems practically made for its new location in a former water tank] photo: dwight eschliman
terence riley and john bennett’s miami house _ bennett an architect, designed their house on miesian principles also used digital technology to turn their walls into art. photo: dwight eschliman
house for jeanne and michael klein, the architect mark dubois had two main issues to play with: light and art. dubois turned the front courtyard into an outdoor viewing area, with a projection screen stretched behind a sheet of glass - a giant viewing window! apparently each part of the house comes alive through out the day - morning noon and night. who wouldn't love to come home to that! photo: dwight eschliman
most of the owners of these homes have an extensive large art collection to work and collaborate with. which is my favorite - i'm torn, they are all so inspiring and gorgeous. did anybody notice there's no snow in any of these digs? i bet the snow would make it even better.
