believe it or not our little man finds derrick hodgson's work pretty interesting. we have seen it at magic pony gallery before, one of the little guys favorite queen west urban street culture stores. little man loves to peruse the gallery in the back that shows some of toronto's finest original works of imagination. magic pony is showcasing toronto's own derrick hodgson's mutated pals. his work is a cross between graffiti, cartoon and contemporary design and you can read more about his major recognition here. we love all the work from blocks of perception to graffiticharacter works, i want one for the little monkeys room and he does too.

check out the artist himself thursday oct 11th 20077-10pm at magic pony gallery 694 queen st west, toronto on tel: 416.861.1684. exhibit runs october 11- 28 2007 [the exhibit showcases new mixed media work that takes us deeper into his abstract world influenced by nature, growth and death]
