interior designer : canadian 'design junky'

1.05.2006

first day of blog :)

it's the first blog ever today and well, the babe [my son] is being creative for the time being and i have a moment to say 'hey!'.

the low down - designbungalow - is a comfortable place you can find a Canadian 'design junky' post fresh finds, thoughts and creative spaces. i know, it's not the least bit original but i believe that it will evolve as we go along. anything imaginable from fashion finds, modern furnishing establishments, from up + coming graphic artists - architects - painters to the latest + greatest in children's gear ....anything design from around the world.

there is a little guy moving about the premises - little man really. he's magnificent + he's 3 + as demanding as the rest of them. little man undoubtedly has interior design and furnishings in his blood and he is a creative little monkey. [he's rearranging the room as we speak....one sec...] sometimes you'll find his amazing creative adventures posted here too.

keeping all things design in mind, here we go:

i think these two guys are simply fab: the American duo jonathan racek + kevin racek of stew design workshop
http://www.stewdesignworkshop.com/. they are based out of burlington vermont + be sure to check out their website, very fresh. they have recently been published in surface + elements of living magazines. pretty fantastic i think.

stay tuned as links get updated and project lists get developed.
and designers everywhere in any sort of discipline ... i've got my eye on you.
